And though, as it always is with any negative results, there are many things that led to the results ending as they did, the Miami Heat’s final shot attempt is a point of intrigue and anxiety. On a driving layup to win the game, the Miami Heat’s best player, Jimmy Butler, endured a ton of contact—but got no call.

And while a person with no eyes could see that it was foul-worthy contact, the Miami Heat’s superstar did what he was supposed to do. He owned responsibility for his miss and took it on the chin.
