The Miami Heat may be in the market to make a move come the NBA Trade Deadline. Perhaps, they may even entertain a conversation or two before then.

However, recent reports indicate that if there is a move to be made by this Miami Heat franchise, it’ll be among the forward or big positions. The Miami Heat have also been linked to several guys that fit that very bill, making all of this that much more intriguing.

And even more to that notion, one guy, in particular, stands out among those mentioned.

That would be former Miami Heat forward, Kelly Olynyk. Currently of the Utah Jazz, Olynyk is a versatile big man who can shoot it, pass it, and rebound the ball at a very good rate.

The Miami Heat may be players on the trade market soon enough. And one name that has emerged is former Heat forward, Kelly Olynyk.

He also fits well beside Bam Adebayo, as indicated by his former time with the team but that is especially the case when you consider this new iteration of Adebayo. Though his defense can sometimes put him in tricky situations, he has always been a good team defender and willing to sacrifice his body on that end of the floor for his team.

Now, that’s the on-the-court stuff, but what about the other stuff? How might the Miami Heat actually make a reunion happen?

Well, when it comes to landing the current Utah, jazz big man, a Utah team that is contending while many thought they would tank after shipping off Donovan Mitchell and Rudy Gobert—it appears they may be willing to listen.

According to NBA reporter (subscription required), Marc Stein, the Utah Jazz will take calls on just about anybody. Here is what that means.

Stein specifically stated that “there is a rising belief” around the NBA that Utah will listen to calls on anyone not named Lauri Markkanen or Walker Kessler. Well, that about says it all.

The Miami Heat shouldn’t have let him go the first time, but it did help land Victor Oladio in the deal. But if they can get the multiple big man back, they should, as it would really help them a ton right now.
