AUCH Roundtable: Should Miami Heat Look To Move Max Strus? – Noah’s Take
Something similar to what happened to Duncan Robinson last season is happening to Max Strus this year for the Miami Heat.

One of the premier three-point threats last season, Strus earned a spot in the Miami Heat starting lineup by shooting at a 41 percent clip on threes. This season though, his shooting percentage is down to just 34 percent.
With Jimmy Butler and Bam Adebayo being the centerpieces of this team, along with the fact of both of them essentially being non-shooters, it is vital to surround them with elite three-point shooting. The shooting inefficiency from Strus this year is not going to get the job done in the playoffs.
The lack of shooting efficiency surrounding Jimmy and Bam this year is likely one of the reasons why the offense is ranked so low. Strus earned his spot in the rotation by being just as good of a shooter as Duncan Robinson, if not better, while also being a much better defender than him.
This season, his shooting is lacking and time is running out on whether the Heat can afford to believe he can turn things around. One thing is for certain.
There are several 3 and D players in the league that could help the Miami Heat right now. Strus should still have good value on the trade market right now as well.
It might be time to consider dealing him for a more consistent shooter. The Heat still have a chance to win a championship soon, but that window is closing.
If they are truly invested in winning a championship with this core, they have to make winning moves. That might mean moving Strus for a shooter, like Jae Crowder, who could help them win now.
