The Miami Heat didn’t make a trade at the trade deadline and they have yet to make an acquisition on the NBA Buyout Market. However, they may be getting some immediate help back into their lineup on Wednesday.

While Tyler Herro still isn’t certain to play in their next contest on Wednesday, Duncan Robinson is again traveling with the team, and this time to Brooklyn, as they look to face the Nets.

And what could be his first game since January 2nd, where he played only five minutes against the Los Angeles Clippers, Robinson could come back to provide a needed boost to a struggling Miami Heat squad on the offensive side of the ball.

And though Robinson has massively struggled himself in the last year or so, relative to the most of his career thus far, he was experiencing a bit of a resurgence before injuring his finger.

The Miami Heat could use more long ranged shooting but right now, simply having more bodies helps out a ton. And Duncan Robinson’s return helps both.

And with that, he could serve to help contribute to that specific area where the Miami Heat are struggling on offense, their three-point shooting.

But even outside of the raw shot-making of it all, Duncan Robinson can help provide this Miami Heat team something else in the process of trying to even set himself up to make the shots. The way that he gets it done offers a certain level of value to the squad as a whole as well.

Constantly moving to find his looks, he creates a certain type of havoc and space with his movement that not only keeps the defense off balance but simultaneously manages to help create space for his teammates.

And with Bam Adebayo’s newfound consistent aggression this season and the opportunity that may be afforded to him due to other players currently missing action for this team, Robinson’s potential return presents the opportunity for what could be a much-needed spark for this Miami Heat squad.
