The Miami Heat continue to have an interesting test before them across the next few games.

After missing another direct opportunity to influence their standings in the Eastern Conference on Saturday in a losing comeback bid to the Bulls, the Miami Heat will face off against the Detroit Pistons, the New York Knicks, and the Brooklyn Nets across the next three contests.

And with that, it surely means that if the Miami Heat continue to have interesting tests before them, then so does Jimmy Butler. But that’s not the only interesting test that Butler may have before him.

After a recent loss against Orlando Magic, it was highly publicized that Jimmy Butler would complete his postgame routine of activities while also loudly blasting music from the alternative rock group, Nickelback. In order to, presumably, get the attention of his teammates, Butler would use the abrasive melodies to send a message.

But his teammates weren’t the only ones who got the message, apparently. And the other party that did might surprise you.

The musical group in question also got the message!

The Miami Heat need to worry about winning all they can going forth but what happened after a recent L is making waves. And good ones for Jimmy Butler.

In response to the news and in light of them going on tour this summer, Nickelback responded to Butler’s choice of tunes after a loss. Offering the Miami Heat superstar the opportunity to join them and sing live, it isn’t exactly clear what they mean.

The best kind of publicity, free and organic, provided by Jimmy Butler is certainly worthy of being allowed on the stage with a group of which he, apparently, enjoys their music, right? But even if they are just offering him a super exclusive VIP experience, which it surely would have to be if that’s what they are offering, that may be alright too.

Either way it might stand, Jimmy seems like the type of guy to take them up on that offer. If it’s the latter, well, that’s self-explanatory, as he’ll get to, again, sing his heart out as a fan at a live show.

But if it’s the former, that’ll be right up Butler’s alley too.
