Miami Heat Defense Can Be Fixed As Long As Offense Keeps Clicking

After several games of shooting that was absolutely below the floor out of the All-Star break, the Miami Heat have bounced back and it seems like that coincides with the addition of Kevin Love, though he, himself, hasn’t shot the ball on a stellar level either since coming over. But even there, you have more optimism than anything, as he’s starting look to more comfortable in the Heat’s system over his last several contests as well.

But here’s the thing about it all.

Though they’ve experienced slippage on the opposite side of the ball since they found a way to inject life into their offense, that same optimism should still carry over to the defensive side of the ball when it matters the most.

Again, taking a hit as the offense has begun to come together, they were among the top teams in the league on that side of the ball early on in the season. Being a top 10 defensively rated team throughout the season as a whole, they’ve managed to become the 22nd said team there in their last 15 games.

But that’s alright. And it’s not great by any means, but it’s fixable.
