Miami Heat: Should They Offer Max Strus $20M-Plus Deal – Noah’s Take

2022-23 has not been the best season for Max Strus.

Noah’s Take (@ndeckerbuckets)

After earning a starting spot by shooting over 40 percent from deep last season, Strus finds himself shooting a poor percentage from deep this season.

However, the Heat should absolutely re-sign him when they have the chance. He may not be having the best season, but his upside is tremendous.

When he is hot, he can score quickly by draining one three-pointer after another.

This is what the Heat need right now and is currently missing from Strus.

The Heat are 28th in three-point percentage this season. Strus returning to his usual shooting ways would benefit the Heat in an era when three-point shooting is essential.

The Heat may only need to offer $20 million over three years to sign Strus. For a player of his shooting potential, that is a price that the Heat should be willing to pay.

The Miami Heat owe it to Max Strus to give him a solid offer this offseason. He was a huge contributor to a deep playoff run last season.

And though he might not stay with the Heat for the rest of his career, they, at least, owe him a solid contract offer.
