6. Kyle Filipowski, F/C, Duke

Quite frankly, I’m not really sure how Kyle Filipowski will translate to the next level but he’s certainly a player that could be of interest to the Miami Heat late in the first round. He’s an extremely skilled big man that is coming off a productive season for Duke. During his freshman season, he averaged 15 points and nine rebounds on 44 percent shooting from the field.

He showed impressive athleticism on the wing and even though he struggled with his 3-point shot overall (28 percent from 3 during his freshman season), he did show the ability to stretch the defense with his shooting ability. If he can prove that he can be consistent from deep during pre-draft workouts, I wouldn’t be surprised if he rose into the top 20.

All that said, I’m not sure what position he’ll play in the NBA or if he’ll prove to be good enough on the defensive end where he could play next to another offensive-minded forward or if he’ll need protection with a defensive big next to him. Either way, based on his offensive versatility alone for his size, he seems like a great fit next to Bam Adebayo.
