The Miami Heat will face the New York Knicks in the second round of the playoffs.

As the No. 8 seed, the Heat pulled off the stunning upset over the top-seeded Milwaukee Bucks, while the Knicks rolled to a five-game series win over the Cleveland Cavaliers. Now, the Heat and Knicks will play each other in the playoffs with a trip to the conference finals on the line.

These two franchises have a fierce but long-dormant rivalry. The Heat and Knicks played each other in four straight postseasons, from 1997-2000, and then the most recent time in 2012. This will be the latest chapter, featuring Jimmy Butler vs. Jalen Brunson, Bam Adebayo vs. Julius Randle, Erik Spoelstra vs. Tom Thibodeau.
