The Playoff Round: 2012 Eastern Conference Finals (Heat Win 4-3)

The Player & The Line: LeBron James, 33.6 PPG, 11.0 RPG, 3.9 APG, 1.1 SPG, 1.3 BPG on 53-29-65 shooting splits

The Context: LeBron’s 45 point, 15 rebound annihilation in Game 6 of this series may stand as his most singular, shining playoff performance, but there was still an important Game 7 to be played. LeBron again delivered, as he did through most of this series. Other than Game 6, LeBron’s outside jumper largely eluded him, but his tireless forays to the rim led to great efficiency despite that. The entirety of LeBron’s 2012 postseason remains arguably the best any Heat player as ever had, but that is a list for another day, perhaps.
