The Playoff Round: 2022 Eastern Conference Quarterfinals (Heat Win 4-1)

The Player & The Line: Jimmy Butler, 30.5 PPG, 7.8 RPG, 5.3 APG, 2.8 SPG on 54-44-79 shooting splits

The Context: It seems a distant memory now, but Jimmy Butler, prior to this series, came off something of a low-point for him as a playoff performer. In 2021, the Heat were demolished by the eventual NBA Champion MIlwaukee Bucks in the first round, and Butler’s statistics and shooting splits were putrid. Was his bubble run in 2020 a fluke? #PlayoffJimmy quickly put those doubts to rest by eviscerating the Hawks. The only reason this series doesn’t rank a shade higher is that Butler missed Game 5 with a minor injury (the Heat won anyway).
