Bet this Bam Adebayo prop bet for Game 1 of the NBA Finals vs. Nuggets

Miami Heat fans are going to be locked in for Game 1 of the NBA Finals, and while you’re watching, there is a prop bet that you should consider wagering on.

Heat center Bam Adebayo has been strong in the playoffs, especially in the team’s second-round series against the New York Knicks, but he didn’t play his best basketball in the Eastern Conference Finals.

I think that’s going to change, so I broke down a prop bet that I love for Adebayo in Game 1 against the Denver Nuggets:

This number may seem a little high since Adebayo has scored less than 16.5 points in his last five postseason games, but I’m going to bet on a bounce-back showing from him in Game 1.

The key for Adebayo is the usage (he took just five shots in Game 3 vs. Boston and seven shots in Game 4), but he saw several more looks in Games 5 through 7.

For the entire playoffs, Adebayo is averaging 16.8 points per game while shooting the ball 13.8 times per game. In his last seven games against Denver (going back to 2020), he’s scored the ball at a high rate, posting 17 or more points in five of those games.

Not only that, but Adebayo scored 19 and 22 points in his two matchups with Denver this season despite taking just 14 shots in both games.

If Miami wants to make Nikola Jokic work on defense, using Adebayo frequently is key, especially if the team hopes to get the Joker in foul trouble.

I think he’s a bounce-back candidate in the scoring department in Game 1.
