1. Los Angeles Lakers
Unlike the Timberwolves or Suns, the Lakers can actually go out and offer Vincent a long term deal. While this almost entirely depends on how the offseason goes for the Lakers, it’s still a real possibility. If they swing out on some of their more desirable targets, they could settle for Vincent. However, if they hit a home run, Vincent won’t be on their minds.
Vincent would be an immediate upgrade over some of the players they’ve had running point guard in recent seasons at a much bigger discount. The 3&D skillset he’d bring to the Lakers at a cheaper price would be incredibly valuable to what they’re trying to do.
The best part about Vincent and the Lakers is his fit. Throwing him on the Lakers would allow him to work more in the off-ball as a shooter next to LeBron. Not to mention the perimeter defense the team desperately needs.
Vincent and the Lakers honestly seem like a match made in heaven from a fit standpoint and considering the contract they could potentially offer him, the Heat are at real risk of losing him to LA.
