Gabe Vincent – Miami Heat

Gabe Vincent is going to earn himself a massive raise after the playoff run he just had. After going undrafted and working his way up to a full-time starting role with Miami, Vincent was an essential piece for the Heat as they made their run to the NBA Finals. He put up excellent numbers during a 22-game playoff stretch, and teams have taken notice, as, per The Athletic’s Shams Charania, the guard will have a significant market across the league in free agency. Because they have his Bird rights, the Heat can match any outside offer.

The Heat may very well have their starting point guard of the future in Vincent. He fits in perfectly with Miami’s core, bringing scoring, shooting and energy to the table. When asked about what he wants in free agency, Vincent highlighted the need for the right situation. The guard is currently in a great place and has a chance to continue growing. At 27 years old, he’s still developing his game. Alongside Jimmy Butler and Bam Adebayo, Vincent could continue his ascension and become a key cog for this team for years to come.

Keeping the guard will not be cheap, but the Heat would be foolish to let him walk.
