Bam Adebayo is calling for more minutes with Kel'el Ware. In his words, Bam believes that Ware "definitely gets better" when the two big men are on the floor together.

If Bam has any influence on Erik Spoelstra's rotations, there's reason to believe that the frontcourt duo could be getting more run together moving forward. On Saturday afternoon, in the Heat's big win over the Houston Rockets, Bam and Ware were a +21 in 16 minutes together.

Bam and Ware have not played much this together this season

Bam and Ware haven't played much this season, but they've been quite good together since the NBA Trade Deadline. In their last five games, Ware and Bam are a +13.2 when they share the floor together.

However, it's not a two-man lineup that Spo has leaned on much. During that five-game stretch, they're only averaging 8.7 minutes per game. It certainly has had its encouraging moments, but, for some reason, Spo has not felt entirely comfortable with it.

Perhaps that could change with Bam's major vote of confidence in the duo.

You can't imagine that it would hurt the chances of Spo leaning more on Bam and Ware moving forward.

Kel'el Ware looks to read to solidify himself

And with Bam squarely in his corner, Ware has a real opportunity to solidify himself heading into the final stretch of the season. There are just 21 games left in the season, and this is the perfect opportunity for Ware to emerge as a player Spo can't begin to lean on.

After an up-and-down January, Ware has seen his minutes slightly bounce back up during the month of February. That said, he's still averaging less than 20 minutes per contest over the last two months of the season.

If the Heat are going to hit their ceiling as a team down the stretch, or even just put themselves in a position to break out of the Play-In Tournament position, you'd have to imagine that Bam and Ware clicking together could play a vital part in that.

This vote of confidence from Bam could be the first step in seeing Ware on the floor next to the All-Star at a much greater consistency. Interestingly enough, it's the first time in a while that we've heard such a strong stance from Bam on the issue.

I'm sure this is not necessarily a new sentiment from the big man, but it certainly is an interesting development for the Heat.
