It's time for the Miami Heat to go get some shooters.

After landing Giannis Antetokounmpo, one of the first moves that the Miami Heat should make revolves around getting sufficient shooting around their new duo. On paper, Giannis and Bam Adebayo are a great start for the Heat. However, if they're going to emerge as a real threat to win the NBA Championship, they're going to need some real shooting threats.

Looking back at some of the best rosters the Milwaukee Bucks built around Giannis over the years, they all had this in common. And now that the Heat have put the finishing touches on acquiring Giannis, it's time to follow in Milwaukee's past footsteps and find some value shooting that will only help get this post-Giannis build off on the right start.

The Heat will have plenty of targets after landing Giannis

The good news for the Heat is that there will be options. After adding Giannis, you can almost bet that there will be plenty of suitors lining up to play alongside the newest duo in Miami. A few names that could make sense for the Heat could be Tim Hardaway Jr., Bruce Brown, Quentin Grimes, Kevin Huerter, Anfernee Simons, and potentially others.

The Heat could also theoretically bring back Norman Powell and Simone Fontecchio, who are both expected to hit free agency next month. If the Heat could make another move to reduce their payroll, they're also eligible to use the full $15 millon mid-level exception.

If there's any front office that could find a path to making it happen, it's the Heat's.

It should also be noted that Miami still has Davion Mitchell, Pelle Larsson, and Nikola Jovic on the roster after the blockbuster move. Mitchell is coming off a career 3-point shooting year, while Larsson is still developing his perimeter skills.

Even though Jovic took a pretty big step back this past season, there's reason to believe that he could bounce back next to a superstar like Giannis. Let's also not forget that Portis was also a part of this deal for the Heat, who is coming off an excellent offensive season in Milwaukee.

While he certainly has his struggles with consistency at times, perhaps a fresh start in Miami is exactly what he needs at this point in his career.

The Heat's front office needs to work even harder now that Giannis is in tow

There are many Heat fans who are celebrating right now, and rightfully so. If we're being honest, though, the Heat's front office needs to work even harder now that they've landed Giannis.

This is where they truly are going to earn their paychecks. As the official start of the offseason approaches, they're going to have to build this roster pretty quickly. At this point, you'd have to assume that it all starts with shooting.

The heavy lifting is done. Giannis is a Heat. Now it's time to build out the roster.
