Heat vs Spurs preview: Preseason Game 3
By Wes Goldberg
The Miami Heat play their third preseason game Tuesday night when they host the San Antonio Spurs at Kaseya Center.
WHO: Miami Heat vs San Antonio Spurs
WHERE: Kaseya Center
WHEN: 7:30 p.m. ET
HOW: Bally Sports
Coach Erik Spoelstra should have most of the roster at his disposal, except for Josh Richardson, who is still rehabbing from shoulder surgery. Although on the first night of a back-to-back preseason set, it wouldn’t be surprising to see some players given the night off.
If not, though, it should be the second time we see Spoelstra’s preferred starting lineup of Terry Rozier, Tyler Herro, Jimmy Butler, Nikola Jovic and Bam Adebayo.
On the other side of the court, Victor Wembanyama will present the biggest defensive challenge the Heat have encountered in the preseason so far. Veteran Chris Paul has added playmaking and organization to San Antonio’s offense that will test Herro and Rozier at the point of attack.
We’ll be back later tonight with postgame analysis.
