The Miami Heat continue to be considered a current favorite for Giannis Antetokounmpo, but nothing is guaranteed at this point. Nevertheless, as the saga continues to unfold, new details of what a framework for a Giannis to the Heat blockbuster trade have emerged.

In addition to Tyler Herro, Kel'el Ware, Jaime Jaquez Jr., three first-round picks, and potential pick swaps, Sam Amick reports that Pelle Larsson or Kasparas Jakucionis would be in a deal as well. It should be noted that, at least for now, it's either/or. Not both.

As that gives Heat fans a clearer picture of what they can expect in the event that the Milwaukee Bucks do move forward with Miami's offer, it also helps gauge what the team could be working with in a post-Giannis trade world

Heat gets a clearer idea of what a Giannis trade may look like

For Heat fans who are concerned about what would be left after a Giannis trade, this adds much-needed context to those concerns.

If this is indeed the package that gets sent out for Giannis, the Heat would be left with Bam Adebayo, Davion Mitchell, Nikola Jovic, Myron Gardner, Dru Smith, and one of Larsson or Jakucionis. Andrew Wiggins could also factor into that, depending on what he ends up doing with his player option, and Norman Powell, depending on whether the Heat wants to re-sign him or not.

Either way, this does begin to clear things up for where the Heat may stand with or without a trade of Giannis.

But, again, none of this matters if the Heat can't hammer down a deal with Milwaukee. Even though this seems like a pretty competitive deal on paper, it does feel as if the Bucks are holding out hope that they can find a path to a better offer.

As frustrating as that may sound for Heat fans, it's the Bucks' front office job to do that.

The Heat will get their answer soon, one way or another

Sure, a quick resolution may be beneficial for all sides involved, but even if Milwaukee were working with a theoretical deadline of the 2026 NBA Draft, they still have roughly two weeks before that. That means, as much as Heat fans may want a resolution either way, there's no real need for any type of urgency from the Bucks yet.

That will and may change as we inch closer to the NBA Draft, but, at least for now, it wouldn't be all that surprising if this lingered for a bit more.

Either way, IF the Heat were to get a trade done for Giannis, there's a bit more clarity of what that final package could look like, which might finally have been revealed.
