2. Lonnie Walker IV
The University of Miami product is coming off his best season as a pro, averaging 9.7 points on 38.4% shooting in 17.4 minutes off the bench for the Brooklyn Nets. At 25 years old, Walker is in his prime and should be able to build off that season.
Walker is a capable scorer with upside as a defender and rebounder. He’s a good athlete who could pop in Miami’s development system.
The Heat may not be interested in a player like Walker after signing Alec Burks to a minimum salary, but he could still help a team in need of offensive options.
