Up: Kel’el Ware

The 7-footer is showing his talent on both ends of the court. Offensively, Ware has thrived as in pick-and-rolls with Miami’s ball-handlers, finishing with lobs and touch shots in the restricted area. He’s also made two 3-pointers so far in Las Vegas – a flash of the intriguing skillset that made him the 15th pick in the draft.

Defensively, Ware’s size has created problems for would-be drivers and has led to multiple blocks and contests near the basket. On Monday, Ware finished with 12 rebounds, a steal and a block.

Coaches are on him to out-work opponents on the glass more consistently and the fact that he needs to add weight to take on guys at the NBA level is clear, but the two-way talent is also obvious.
