3 Heat players whose stock is rising at Summer League, 1 whose spot is in danger
By Wes Goldberg
Down: Zyon Pullin
Stevens is beating out Zyon Pullin, earning starts in the last two Summer League games over the player the Heat signed to a two-way contract shortly after going undrafted in June.
Pullin hasn’t done much to stand out (averaging 8 points, 1 rebound, 1.5 assists, 1 turnover in two games) but the sample has been small.
What Pullin does have over Stevens is size: He’s 6-foot-4 with a body that should stand up better at the NBA level. But the 23-year-old rookie will have to produce now or in training camp to hold onto his two-way contract.
