3 Role players on losing teams who should wish to sign with the Heat this summer

The Miami Heat will be limited in cap space but they should still be able to find players capable of helping bolster their rotation this offseason.

Lamar Stevens is a guy that Miami should look to sign in the offseason. Stevens is only 26 years old, can play both forward positions, and would fit into Heat culture because he always plays his hardest on both ends.

At 6-foot-6, 230 pounds, Stevens is a rugged defender who can guard multiple perimeter positions and bigger guys. He doesn’t have the best-looking shot but knows how to create looks that lead to mid-range jumpers.

Since getting traded from the Boston Celtics to the Memphis Grizzlies, Stevens has shown that he deserves playing time. Granted, Memphis has struggled this year, but Stevens still plays hard, and some of his tools would be helpful to a playoff team. After all, it wouldn’t be the first time Miami got more use from a former Boston Celtic, hence Max Strus.
