As trade talks ramp up, it's important to remember that the Miami Heat didn't acquire a player before last season's deadline. Rather, the team's most impactful mid-season addition was signing Kevin Love off the buyout market.

We know the Heat will always scan the buyout market for potential help, so here are a few names worth keeping an eye on over the next couple of months.

1. Cedi Osman

With the San Antonio Spurs being out of playoff contention it would make sense to move forward Cedi Osman. But if they can't move him via trade, then San Antonio could look to buy out Osman.

Osman, 28, has an expiring contract worth $6.7 million for the season. Osman is a solid wing who can provide depth. He's a team player who moves the ball and is reliable on defense.

It doesn't make sense for Miami to trade for Osman (the only matching salary would be Caleb Martin, which is a no-go) but Osman on the buyout market would make a lot of sense.
