Yves Missi, Center, Baylor

Backup center has been a revolving door for the Heat over the years, so selecting a young big man in the first round could help solve that positional need. There are specific skills a Heat center needs to have, and Yves Missi is what Miami should look for.

At 7-foot with a 7-foot-6 wingspan, Missi has a bigger body and long arms who provides rebounding, rim protection and a big target on offense.

For his size, Missi has quick feet to defend quicker players. Another thing that Missi does is he is a good rebounder, which is something Miami needs. Missi is athletic but returns to the fundamentals and does a good job boxing out.

Missi is raw and needs to work on his touch and conditioning. If Missi can prove that his conditioning has improved, then Miami should consider drafting him.
