1. Talen Horton- Tucker
This would be an exciting addition for Miami to pursue. Horton-Tucker can be a shot creator, and with a 7-foot-1 wingspan, has the length to defend multiple positions.
Horton-Tucker has upside but hasn’t been in a situation where he could fully develop his skills. When Horton-Tucker was a Los Angeles Laker, they were in a win-now situation, and when LeBron James is on your team, there is no time for young players to develop. Then in Utah, Horton-Tucker showed flashes and averaged 10.1 points and 3.5 assists.
Horton-Tucker can finish at the rim and has good one-on-one moves to get to the basket. This could be Miami’s guard version of Calabe Martin. He is a player who hasn’t found a team/role, and Miami helps him fill his potential.
