3. Dalton Knecht, guard, Tennessee

Dalton Knecht's draft projection has been from the fifth pick to the middle of the first round. Knecht would be an easy fit for Miami, as he's been compared to former Heat guard Max Strus.

He shot nearly 40% on 6.5 3-point attempts per game for the Volunteers last season. He can shoot off the catch and on the move when coming off screens. He uses his spacing to attack hard close outs and can put the ball on the floor and get to the rim.

Knecht is not a good defender but he's generally in the right spot and tries hard. But if Miami could coach him into being an average defender, he could stay on the floor.

Knecht, 23, is considered one of the more NBA-ready players in the draft and projects as a plug-and-play guy for any team that drafts him.
