Although a little smaller in terms of length and size, Lonnie Walker IV will be another name willing to sign for a cheap price. He is also at a young age of 25, coming off a season with the Brooklyn Nets averaging 9.7 points, 2.2 rebounds and 1.3 assists on 42.3% shooting. Walker can also shoot the ball from 3-point range with an efficent 38.4% this year.

He may not bring the versatilty to play multiple positions like Martin did, but he can still provide solid size as a shooting guard for Miami's depth chart. Over his career, he has been a respectable defender and still has room to grow in that department. Martin recieved much more playing time as a wing during the 2023-2024 season compared to the forward positions, thanks to Nikola Jovic's growth in the rotation.

Walker can fill in with that sort of role on the perimeter while bringing a more consistent 3-point shot to the table. More importantly, he will be available for the veteran minimum and open up financial flexibility to a team that is deep into the second apron.
