5 Free agents who can help the Miami Heat replace Terry Rozier
Jordan Goodwin
Update: Goodwin was signed by the Memphis Grizzlies.
After working his way up from a two-way contract to a standard deal with the Wizards, Goodwin joined the Phoenix Suns this past summer but struggled to carve out a regular rotation role this season.
Goodwin has earned a reputation for being a strong point-of-attack defender who can fight over screens and bother some of the top guards in the league. The problem is on the other end, where he struggles with his efficiency (39% shooting overall and 29% from 3 this season).
This would be a one-way addition, but defense is something the Heat can use, especially at the point of attack. Goodwin is 25 and the Heat have made the most of defensive-minded players like Derrick Jones Jr. and Caleb Martin in the past.
