2. Kendrick Nunn All-Rookie First Team

In the Heat’s storied developmental program, some players have lasted while others dropped out of the league as soon as their Heat tenure came to an end. Unfortunately, Kendrick Nunn was one of those players. He burst onto the scene during the 2019-20 season as a young and exciting scoring combo guard in Miami’s system.

There were several outings of some legit offensive explosions out of Nunn. Those performances were good enough to earn a spot on the NBA’s 2020 All-Rookie first team. But in the summer of 2021, the Heat standout parted ways in free agency by signing a lucrative contract with the LA Lakers.

It went downhill from there though, as injury problems took over his entire Lakers tenure until falling out of the NBA entirely.
