5 Must-win games over the Miami Heat’s stretch run
By Wes Goldberg
April 4 vs Philadelphia 76ers (and March 18 at Philadelphia)
Joel Embiid will be re-evaluated for his knee injury in early March and he should be back by at least the second game of this series.
The Heat lead the season series 1-0, having beaten the Embiid-less 76ers on Christmas. A win in either of the two remaining games would give the Heat the tie-breaker if both teams have the same record heading into the postseason.
How many games do the 76ers lose with Embiid out? (They already lost to the Knicks on Wednesday.) Can the Heat go on a run to inch closer to Philly in the standings?
Right now, the Heat are 1.5 games back of the 76ers. These games will matter and are as close to must-wins that exist on the schedule.
