After his strong showing at the combine, Bronny James showed that he belongs in the second draft round. James is a team-first player who routinely makes the right play, is a good perimeter defender and is very athletic.
James, LeBron's son, recorded a 40.5-inch vertical leap at the combine, the fourth highest among combine participants. Defensively, James has the tools to be an annoying perimeter defender who picks up 94 feet and rides you for the whole game. He's physical and cunning enough to force turnovers.
Offensively, James has good form on his jumper but needs to get the ball out of his hands a bit faster. James is supposed to be better as an off-guard than a point guard. James has a lot of tools that Miami would like.
