5 Players the Miami Heat might replace Tyler Herro with by the trade deadline

It seems like Tyler Herro has survived another year of trade rumors. However, if injury and/or fit issues arise again, the Miami Heat could look to replace him.

Brandon Ingram

Now it has reached the part of this list that features the most explosive offensive options to replace Herro. Brandon Ingram has not been able to come to a contract extension with the New Orleans Pelicans. Some expected Ingram to force a trade by now, but it seems like he may rely on his individual game to prove to teams he is worth the money.

Besides injury issues, Ingram is a mega-talented offensive piece to any team. His size and length make him a problem to deal with when he is on, and he averaged 20.8 points, 5.7 assists and 5.1 rebounds on 48/39/88 shooting splits last season. There is nothing that Ingram cannot do offensively as a pure three-level scorer in the NBA.

He is at a really attractive age of 26, which perfectly matches Adebayo’s age and timeline. Miami getting their hands on Ingram could give them a versatile talent for years. If he cannot finally come to that contract extension agreement in New Orleans, expect his name to appear heavily in rumors before next season’s deadline.
