5 Trade deadline targets the Heat can save from losing teams
By Max Marshall
Chris Boucher
The Toronto Raptors have already sold some of their most valuable pieces and could auction off some others before Thursday's deadline. One of those players could be Chris Boucher, a long forward who can stretch the floor.
Boucher would address Miami's need for size and shooting and can play next to any big Miami has on the roster. Boucher is a versatile player who can dabble in a bit of everything offensively. He can put the ball on the floor in open space, hit the mid-range jumper, and has shot 33% on 3s for his career. He isn't the most efficient player and can be wobbly on defense, but if Miami can find a way to acquire Boucher and get him into their system, then I think it's worth it.
The Heat don't have a guy like Boucher on their roster, and they need to get bigger and more skilled. Boucher provides both.
