Team USA defeated Brazil in the quarter-final game of the 2024 Paris Olympics in dominating fashion, with a final score of 122-87. Miami Heat star Bam Adebayo found a way to make an immediate impact in this game. He grabbed two offensive rebounds early to give his team extra possessions.

These second-chance scoring opportunities paved the way for Team USA to take over the game. Team USA shot an incredibly efficient 48.4% on 3-pointers and 57.7% on overall field goals. Bam’s contribution, which included nine points and seven rebounds, helped Team USA match the offensive-rebounding total of a very good offensive-rebounding Brazil team.

Bam Adebayo contributed with offensive rebounds to help Team USA dominate Brazil in the quarter-final game of the 2024 Paris Olympics.

Bam also knocked down a 3-pointer late in the game in typical Bamonte fashion. His role has changed every game, just as it has for so many other players on Team USA. What hasn’t changed is Bam’s ability to find ways to impact winning.

With this victory, Team USA advances to the semi-final round to take on Serbia. Team USA won the group stage game against Serbia with a convincing 110-84 victory. Bam will likely need to contain Serbian superstar Nikola Jokic over several possessions in this game to secure the victory.

One more win will guarantee Team USA a medal in these Olympic games, but anything short of a gold medal would be considered a disappointment for this talented roster. Bam and the rest of Team USA will have to remain focused when they face Serbia on Aug. 8.
