The Miami Heat are home underdogs on Sunday against the Los Angeles Clippers, which has not been a kind spot for Miami this season.
The team is just 0-5 against the spread in those games this season, but the team may have more value in the prop market – especially on superstar Jimmy Butler.
Butler has been playing some of his best basketball as of late, willing Miami to wins over the Sacramento Kings and Washington Wizards. Here’s how to bet on Jimmy – and one Clippers player – on Sunday evening:

Clippers vs. Heat best NBA prop bets
- Jimmy Butler OVER 20.5 points
- Jimmy Butler OVER 4.5 rebounds
- Paul George OVER 25.5 points, rebounds and assists
Jimmy Butler OVER 20.5 points
This is a shockingly low prop for Butler’s points, and he’s cleared it easily in four straight games, averaging 27.3 points per game over that stretch.
The Heat star is attempting 14.0 field goal attempts over that stretch, but the bigger key is at the line, where Butler is taking 10.3 free throws per contest.
Aggressive Butler is a great sign for the Heat, and it should give him plenty of easy looks against the Clippers. Opponents are taking nearly 23 free throws per game against Los Angeles.
I’ll gladly take the OVER for Butler at this discounted number.
Jimmy Butler OVER 4.5 rebounds
Another Butler prop? Why not!
In this recent four-game stretch, Butler has grabbed at least seven rebounds in each game, pushing his season average to 5.3 boards per game.
Yes, the Clippers are a solid rebounding team (10th in the NBA in rebounding percentage), but it’s no secret that as Butler’s minutes are increasing, so are his numbers.
I expect him to remain aggressive against a Clippers team that is still down starting center Ivica Zubac. He should grab five boards – or more – on Sunday.
Paul George OVER 25.5 points, rebounds and assists
I’m buying about as low as we possibly can on Paul George on Sunday.
Over his last six games, George has cleared this number just one time, averaging just 16.3 points, 4.8 rebounds and 2.7 assists per game.
However, I’m trusting George’s season-long body of work in this matchup. The All-Star is averaging 22.9 points, 5.4 rebound and 3.6 assists per game (31.9 PRA).
He’s also cleared 25.5 points, rebounds and assists in 33 of his 44 games. Prior to this six-game stretch, he had cleared it in 32 of 38 games. I love the OVER for PG tonight.
