Best NBA prop bets today for Heat vs. Nuggets (Jimmy Butler's three-point shooting provides betting value)

The Miami Heat will take on the Denver Nuggets for the first time since the 2023 NBA Finals when the Heat fell in five games to hand the Nuggets their first NBA Championship in franchise history.

The Nuggets are set as 5-point favorites in the game, but in this article, I'm going to focus on three player props that I think hold value in this interconference showdown.

Nuggets vs. Heat prop bets

  • Jimmy Butler OVER 0.5 three's
  • Bam Adebayo OVER 0.5 steals
  • Nikola Jokic UNDER 11.5 rebounds

Jimmy Butler OVER 0.5 three pointers

We're not asking for much from Jimmy Butler tonight, we just need him to make one single three-point shot. He's averaging 1.0 three pointers made per game and now he and the Heat get to take on a Nuggets team that can be vulnerable on the perimeter.

The Nuggets are allowing teams to shoot 36.4% from beyond the arc against them, which ranks 14th in the NBA.

Bam Adebayo OVER 0.5 steals

Denver has had turnover issues of late, coughing the ball up on 13% of its possessions over the Nuggets last three games while also ranking 10th in turnovers this season. Bam Adebayo is averaging 1.1 steals per game and he has recorded at least one in six of his last seven games.

He just needs to record one for us to cash this ticket tonight.

Nikola Jokic UNDER 11.5 rebounds

We're going to fade Nikola Jokic in a sense tonight by taking the UNDER on his rebounds total of 11.5. He has a tough matchup ahead of him in Adebayo and a Heat team that ranks second in the NBA in defensive rebounding, grabbing 77.5% of defensive boards.

I'll jump on this bet at plus-money.
