Most mock drafts have Williams going a few picks before no. 15 but it’s close enough that he’s worth including here.
Not only does Williams check Miami’s boxes – capable ball handler, major defensive upside, competitiveness – he’s also 6-foot-8 with a 7-foot-1 wingspan. The Heat have made the most of undersized forwards like Caleb Martin and Haywood Highsmith, but Williams’ physical profile presents an alluring ball of clay for the Heat to mold.
