The Miami Heat are bringing back guard Zyon Pullin, the team announced Monday.

According to a league source, the deal is an Exhibit 10 contract, which essentially amounts to a training camp invite.

The Heat had previously signed Pullin to a two-way contract after he had gone undrafted out of Florida.

Zyon Pullin will have another chance to earn a two-way spot with the Miami Heat in training camp.

But Pullin underwhelmed in summer league, where he averaged 5.3 points, 1.7 assists and 1.2 turnovers, and lost the starting point guard job to Isaiah Stevens.

Late last month, Pullin was waived to make room for Josh Christopher on a two-way spot.

The Heat are still intrigued by Pullin, the 6-foot-4 guard who finished college with an elite assist-to-turnover ratio and shot 38% from 3-point range. The 23-year-old established himself as one of the steadiest guards in college basketball this past season and earned First Team All-SEC honors and posted the conference’s highest assist-to-turnover ratio in more than 20 years.

Pullin joins Stevens on an Exhibit 10 contract. Neither can sign a deal with another team and will be invited to training camp in October, where they will have an opportunity to compete for one of Miami’s three two-way spots.

The Heat's two-way spots are currently occupied by Christopher, Keshad Johnson and Dru Smith.
