4. Avery Bradley

Former Boston Celtics All-Defensive caliber guard Avery Bradley found his way to the 305 during the 2020 offseason. His addition initially seemed like a great fit for Heat Culture; a gritty, point-of-attack wing defender. However, his Heat tenure feels like a fever dream.

Bradley appeared in just 10 games for the first half of the 2020-21 season and started just one game in the Heat’s backcourt. Going into the season, there were rumblings of him earning a regular starting spot to bring that defensive element and add balance to the starting group. Unfortunately, injuries completely changed that outlook.

In the rare instances that he did play, the vision was there as a potential 3-and-D guard coming into the fold. Instead, there was no choice but to pull the plug. He had an assortment of different health issues, becoming a regular on the team’s injury report before finally getting traded at that season’s deadline.
