Nunn has the highest Rookie of the Year finish in Heat history. He finished second to Ja Morant in 2020. Beating out names like the great Zion Willamson, who was proclaimed the best draft prospect since LeBron James.

Nunn caught the NBA world off-guard coming out of nowhere essentially. He went undrafted in the 2018 draft and spent a year in the G-League. That year paid dividends, and Nunn took his game to the next level.

Another left-handed bucket-getter joins Heat rookie greatness. Nunn was a blur in the open court, challenging all comers at the basket. He was as confident as they come. He was a fierce competitor who played a role in the Heat's good regular season that eventually led to another Finals appearance.
