Terry Rozier has gotten better and better for the Miami Heat as the games go on. Today we regrade the polarizing deal that sent the hooper to South Florida.

Terry Rozier's best stretch

Here are Rozier's averages from their recent three-game win streak:

  • 27.7 PPG
  • 4.0 RPG
  • 3.7 APG
  • 57% FG
  • 59% 3P
  • 100% FT

During this three-game span, he led the entire NBA in total 3-point makes and plus-minus.

Rozier’s ability to pressure the rim is something the Heat haven’t had at the point guard position since Goran Dragic. He has a knack for getting to the free-throw line and being aggressive throughout his entire arsenal of shot selection. Most importantly; he isn’t afraid of the big moment.

Having another alpha-type natural hooper is everything this Miami squad has desperately coveted. It will be a luxury to have another offensive weapon to take some load off Butler come playoff time. For a $24 million price tag, this trade wound up being a big-time difference maker for the Heat this season. He is coming off a Heat season-high 34 points on 10 of 15 shooting and eight 3-pointers in the last win against the New York Knicks.
