The Miami Heat won one of the best games of the season, a thriller against the rival Indiana Pacers. They get a well deserved night off tonight. Okay, on with the links.
What a time to be alive: Dwyane Wade lives for these moments, as I write in my recap. It’s an absolute treat to watch him still hit this level, and something we shouldn’t take for granted.
Buzzer beater: If you haven’t seen it yet, you’ve got to check out Wade’s buzzer beating layup to force overtime. If you have seen it, well, see it again. It’s great.
Whiteside injury: Hassan Whiteside will reportedly miss more time with a right knee injury. So, what options do the Heat have at center? Hint: Chris Andersen, who was minus-24 in 10 minutes, isn’t one.
Great quote: I love this quote, via Jason Lieser of the Palm Beach Post, from Goran Dragic on his lob to Dwyane Wade. Dragic is getting more comfortable with his teammates, and he’s becoming one of the honest, better interviews on the team.
