In this edition of Miami Heat Hot Topics, we’ll catch up on the stories we’ve written so far this week here at All U Can Heat. From Dwyane Wade‘s continuing influence to the top three former Heat players we’d like to see join Erik Spoelstra’s coaching staff, we’ve got it all.

Without further ado, we’ll get you caught up on what you may have missed.

Bradley Beal’s decision on max extension is a beacon for the Heat:

As the Miami Heat look for their next blockbuster trade, Bradley Beal may be on deck. Depending on whether he chooses to accept his max extension later this week or not, Miami could be in hot pursuit. Beal becomes eligible to sign his extension on July 26th, and from that point only time will tell.

3 former Heat players we’d like to see on coaching staff:

With Tim Duncan joining Gregg Popovich’s coaching staff with the San Antonio Spurs, it got our Kenneth Wilson thinking: Which former Miami Heat players would be good fits for Erik Spoelstra’s staff? On a team with plenty of veteran leadership over the years, there are plenty of great candidates. Kenneth trimmed the list down to three top qualifiers.

A retired Dwyane Wade still the Heat’s most influential piece:

Even though Dwyane Wade has retired, he’s still doing work for his former team. His recruitment of Jimmy Butler when he was with the Chicago Bulls was instrumental in bringing Butler to Miami, and as our Rich Nurse writes, his presence lingers on South Beach.

Jimmy Butler will be good for Justise Winslow:

Speaking of Jimmy Butler, his own influence is sure to be important for the Heat. Not just for his performance on the floor, but for his ability to mentor the young Justise Winslow. Kenneth Winslow takes us through just how Butler can help Winslow take his game to the next level.

3 goals for Justise Winslow in 2019-20:

And speaking of Justise Winslow, it’s goal season here at All U Can Heat. Winslow is up next under the microscope, and we broke down the three most important goals for his coming season.
