With only a month or so to go, the NBA season is right around the corner. Here is one bold prediction for this year’s Miami Heat team.

This upcoming season’s Miami Heat team has the potential to do some pretty good things. With the talent that was in the East more dispersed, among other factors, it should give the Heat a really good shot to compete near the top.

When thinking about these “other factors”, one of the most immediate things that come to mind are the new faces to think about for each team. While the Boston Celtics added Kemba Walker and Enes Kanter, the Philadelphia 76ers added Al Horford while also re-signing Tobias Harris.

The Brooklyn Nets signed Kyrie Irving, DeAndre Jordan, and Kevin Durant, although Durant won’t play for at least a year with an injury. The Indiana Pacers also made a key addition in signing Malcolm Brogdon. As we all also know, the Miami Heat landed Jimmy Butler.

As the key additions are on one side of the equation, the losses to other teams are on the other. The 76ers lost Jimmy Butler and J.J. Reddick. The Milwaukee Bucks got Khris Middleton re-signed, but they lost Brogdon and Nikola Mirotic, with Mirotic opting to play in Spain on a pretty decent deal.

The Celtics also obviously lost Kyrie Irving and Al Horford. The defending NBA Champion Toronto Raptors lost the MVP of the NBA Finals as Kawhi Leonard eventually chose to join the L.A. Clippers. There were a few other key transactions as well, but these were most of those from the top teams in the Eastern Conference.

With all of this in mind, it leaves the door open for the Miami Heat to sneak in. While that may be a bold prediction in itself, here is the actual bold prediction for the Miami Heat in 2019-20.

Dwyane Wade will opt to come out of retirement and rejoin the Miami Heat

After going on his “One Last Dance” tour last season, many will see these chances as slim to none. It isn’t quite as simple as that though. Here is what that means.

For starters and as mentioned above, the Miami Heat have a chance to be the best version of themselves as they have been over the past few seasons. They are another year more experienced together, the Miami Heat have dropped some of the toxicity(Hassan Whiteside plays for Portland now), and they have added another star player.

On top of the Miami Heat having their best chance to compete in the last few seasons, the star player that they added just so happens to be really close to Dwyane Wade. It is a known fact that Jimmy Butler and Dwyane Wade are close. Butler could be a reason, if not the key, that Wade might decide to give us one more dance.

On top of the previous two reasons, Dwyane Wade arguably had his best season in about three years last season. This means that he still has something left.

Not only does he appear to still have something left, but he thrived in a role that was also a need for the Miami Heat. He was the de facto sixth man, but he also represented a bench boost or bench scoring for the Miami Heat. Even further, he was also a key cog when it came to closing games for this Miami Heat team last season, although he could have used a bit more help.

In case you missed it or didn’t see it, the above was an example of some of his shenanigans from last season. Father Prime still has some more Flash and W.o.W moments left in him.

Again, some will call it crazy, but the above facts are what they are. They are facts. That is why the prediction is that he will eventually suit up for the Miami Heat again this season.
