The Miami Heat are off to a great start to the season, save for a few West Coast slip-ups. Here are some of the stories making waves in November for AUCH.

The Miami Heat are off to a blistering start to the season. They are ranked near the top of the league in quite a few major statistical categories and they are also doing well when it comes to what the advanced metrics have to say as well. They rank near the top of the league in the advanced metric of pace, for example.

Besides a few slipups on the West Coast, Minnesota, Denver, and in Los Angeles to the Lakers respectively, they have been really good to start the year. Jimmy Butler was responsible for the first and only 30-point half by a player in the league this season, while the Miami Heat already have two huge wins under their belts.

They beat the Milwaukee Bucks in Milwaukee a few weeks back, before dismantling the Rockets in Miami on last Sunday. Other than that, here are a few of the more clicked stories from AUCH early on in the month of November.

Here’s why it should be a no go on D’Lo

With Pat Riley promising Jimmy Butler that he would land another star to play beside him, the rumor mill has been on fire when it comes to the Miami Heat. It has churned out names such as Bradley Beal, Chris Paul, Kyle Lowry, and even Russell Westbrook, but now seems to have it’s focus on D’Angelo Russell of the Golden State Warriors.

While Russell may be a talented player overall, he doesn’t fit the Miami Heat way. That is the point we attempt to illustrate in this piece.

Here’s something about Kendrick Nunn that I bet you didn’t know

You may know Kendrick Nunn as the headline stealing rookie for the Miami Heat, but he’s been around for at least a little while. The Miami Heat weren’t the first team to see something in the electric combo guard out of Chicago, but they were the first ones to fully believe in him and his talent at the big club pro level. Find out more about what we mean in the above story.

Lovefest between Jimmy Butler and Tyler Herro is real

Since the time Jimmy Butler arrived in Miami, it has seemed to be love at first sight between him and rookie flamethrower Tyler Herro. From the workouts to the social media videos, to the subtle yet noticeable little nuances on the court, they are really real friends. It shows up all over the place, and we detail those instances for you here.

Jimmy Butler finally told the world what we always knew

If you are a Miami Heat fan, then you know what Heat Culture is, heck, if you’re an NBA fan in general then you probably know what it is. Jimmy Butler not only knows what it is, but he is the walking, talking, breathing, and living personification of the very concept.

We’ve always known this about him as Miami Heat fans, which goes to explain our fascination with the man and our strong desire to get him here prior to this year. He always knew he wanted to be in South Beach as well and he finally told the rest of the world that.

Even in defeat, there’s a huge positive to take from LA game. dark. Next
