The Miami Heat are in the swing of things, practically 1/5 through the season. So are we at AUCH as we take you through some of last week’s popular stories.

The Miami Heat have had a very interesting last week, culminating with the dismantling on Saturday evening at the hands of the Philadelphia 76ers in Philadelphia. While Miami Heat faithful would have of course preferred if that game had gone the other way, it wasn’t necessarily the worst thing that could have happened to this Heat team.

Other than that horrible loss that we would all like to forget at this point, the Miami Heat also had games against the Chicago Bulls and the Cleveland Cavaliers on last week. They would win them both, defeating the Cavaliers in South Beach on the Heat’s home floor to maintain their undefeated home record, while traveling to the Windy City to drop off a defeat for the Chicago Bulls.

Speaking of records and although of a different iteration, Duncan Robinson has been a huge topic himself over the past week for the Miami Heat. That is the perfect segue though. Let’s get into it.

What in the world to do about Duncan Robinson?

Duncan Robinson had himself quite a game against the Cavaliers on last Wednesday night. En route to a career night of 29 points, he went 9-15 from three-point land. He was one off of tieing the Miami Heat team record held by Mario Chalmers and Brian Shaw of 10 three-pointers made in a game, while he was quite a few more off of the NBA record of 14 that is held by the Golden State Warriors’ Klay Thompson.

Either way, the above piece was written prior to this performance, but it broaches an associated topic. If you take a look at the numbers and take account for what the eyes tell you, Robinson plays better when playing alongside the starters. This piece explores that scenario and the available options.

Miami Heat lead from wire to wire as they take down the Bulls

As mentioned earlier, the Miami Heat were able to take down the Chicago Bulls on their home floor in the United Center. It was a homecoming of sorts for both Jimmy Butler and Kendrick Nunn, with Butler having initiated his career there and with Nunn being from Chicago.

Needless to say, it turned out to be a good night all around for them both. This is what the above piece details.

Miami Heat could have a say in each and every regular-season award

As both the record and what we have seen from the team seems to indicate, the Miami Heat are a pretty good team this year. While no one part is greater than the sum of the whole, it takes pretty good individual pieces in order for a collective whatever to be pretty good as well, in any situation.

The Miami Heat have pretty good parts. They are so good that they should, in fact, have a say in every regular-season award.

From the MVP to the MIP and everything else in between, the Miami Heat house a player that should be a candidate in the category. We go into more detail on the scenario here.

The Miami Heat have a chance on Monday to bounce back from Saturday’s loss. They will take on the Charlotte Hornets in Miami. The Hornets are a very beatable team and we should be looking for the Heat to get back on track.
