The Miami Heat will face the Atlanta Hawks on Tuesday for the third time this season. Will this matchup turn out exactly as the previous two matchups have?

The Miami Heat will play the third leg their four-game homestand on Tuesday night as they face the Atlanta Hawks. The Miami Heat have beaten the Hawks twice already this season, in back to back games as apart of a home and home series with the Hawks team, by a tune of a combined 24 points. Ironically enough, the Miami Heat have allowed 97 points on the button in both previous meetings with the Atlanta team, although Miami would score 112 and 106 in both those matchups, respectively.

This Hawks team comes in after winning their last game against the Charlotte Hornets, but it isn’t all rainbows or butterflies with them either, even after a win. Shams Charania of The Athletic (subscription required) reported on an “emotional locker room scene” surrounding Trae Young, which some are describing as a meltdown following a recent Atlanta loss to Brooklyn.  It is said to have resulted in a team official promising Young that they would be “getting him some help on the roster soon”.

While we don’t know how that may end up playing out, we do know that they should have their hands full on Tuesday with a feisty Heat squad to deal with. The Miami Heat will be looking to remain undefeated on their home floor, taking their home record to a perfect 11-0, while also looking to see if they can keep Tyler Herro as hot as he was on Sunday night against the Bulls. Here is everything else you need to know about the game.
