The Miami Heat are a team with tons of burgeoning and developing storylines surrounding them. Here is your weekly roundup, AUCH’s Miami Heat Hot Topics!

The Miami Heat are off to a 17-6 record and playing much better than many could have expected to start the season. They have been fueled by their resident start in Jimmy Butler to not only this wonderful overall record, but also to a record of 10-0 to remain undefeated, perfect, and relatively flawless on their home floor.

Along with Butler’s high-quality performance thus far during the season, they are getting contributions from just about every player across the board. Bam Adebayo is continuing his upward trajectory of a do it all dynamo, while the rookies and second-year guys are taking massive steps every day and in every game right before our very eyes.

The Miami Heat are in the middle of a homestand right now that will see them close it on Friday evening as they welcome back a familiar face in LeBron James and his Los Angeles Lakers. While that is still a bit into the future, let’s take a look back across the past. Here are some of the stories making noise from this past week here at AUCH!

Jimmy Butler quietly on pace for best season as a pro

Why’s no one speaking on Jimmy Butler’s season thus far?

Although they are two separate pieces of work, they kind of jive well together, don’t they? Try this on for size, if he is having his best season as a pro(which he quite possibly more than likely is based on what we lay out in the piece), then why aren’t more people or media entities talking Jimmy Butler?

It’s almost inexplicable, or at least we can’t explain it. When so many(practically everyone said that he couldn’t win in Miami or that it was a bad move for him) had something to say when he made the decision, you would think they would keep that same energy, or maybe you wouldn’t.

It’s time for Erik Spoelstra to make the tough decision on Kendrick Nunn

Rookie combo-guard Kendrick Nunn has been an absolute joy to watch play for the Miami Heat this season. He came only really strong, taking the league by storm over the first few weeks.

While he hasn’t flat out bombed, his performance has kind of tailed off a bit, painting a streakier(see what we did there) picture than the one we thought we were seeing. It is with this intel in hand that we put it into Spo’s hands. It’s time for him to do what’s necessary to make the entire team the best version that they can be.

Bam Adebayo channels inner Embiid and stops Pascal Siakam for Miami Heat

As mentioned earlier, Bam Adebayo is a freak when it comes to his natural physical abilities. Someone that big and strong, shouldn’t also be that quick, flexible, agile, fast, limber, dexterous, and a ton more athletic tropeesque verbs that could be used to describe him.

This particular piece goes into how Bam Adebayo was effective in limiting one of the hottest players in the league right now in Pascal Siakam, a player that few have been able to slow down this season. Well, Bam probably made him look as bad as he has all year. We were not worthy.

dark. Next. Tyler Herro puts his cape on to help get a win down the stretch
