The Miami Heat have a tough in-conference back to back set on their hands, but before thinking about Philly on Saturday, they must handle the Pacers on Friday.

The Miami Heat got the job done in their last game against a gritty and rugged Utah Jazz team. The Steiffel Tower, Rudy Gobert, tried to do all that he could to get his team the win, putting up 18 points, 20 rebounds, and 5 blocks along the way, but it just wasn’t enough in the end. The Miami Heat wound up getting the victory by three points, to a final score of 104-107.

The Miami Heat got a nice little break that included an off-day on Christmas, having played their last game against the Jazz on Monday, but they are right back at it on Friday for the first of back to back games on consecutive days. They will host the Indiana Pacers on Friday, before welcoming in the Philadelphia 76ers on Saturday for their third matchup of the season.

The Indiana Pacers are still without Victor Oladipo of course, but were also without Malcolm Brogdon for their last game. He is listed as “day to day”, while there has been no definitive word on whether he plans to sit or suit up for Friday.

Regardless, this will be a good win for the Miami Heat if they can get it as it gives them a chance to continue to build quite the overall and in-conference resume. Here is everything else you need to know about the game.
