Miami Heat legend Dwyane Wade will apparently never live this past slam dunk contest down. Aaron Gordon and he discussed it Friday night on social media.

With Miami Heat basketball and NBA play suspended, people associated with the league are having to find tons of creative ways to fill their time. Some people are busy staying in shape.

Some are playing video games. Some, such as the Miami Heat’s Bam Adebayo, are documenting every day of their quarantine experience with a meme of their choosing to reflect their “mood”.

There are those that are doing other things though. One example of one of these out of the box quarantine activity finders is none other than Aaron Gordon of the Orlando Magic. Well, he sort of found something unique to do.

When we say “sort of”, we are pointing to the fact that he is still complaining about being fairly beaten in the slam dunk contest, but he has found a new way to do it. If you hadn’t heard or seen by now, he recently released a diss track aimed at Dwyane Wade about the incident.

Although Flash was quick to retort with a witty quip of his own, Gordon quickly put out any flames that may have been ignited by saying that he meant nothing by the musical creation. That explanation was a decent one, but he probably saw the backlash and lambasting that he was taking on social media, leading him to firmly moonwalk out of his position on the song.

In any event, he would get the chance to fully clear it up on Friday night in a face to face conversation with the man himself. The greatest Miami Heat player of all time and the Orlando Magic forward took to social media to hash it out. Here is a bit of the footage, via the twitter account of Bleacher Report.

That was a cute little joke he executed there, seriously though, pretty well played AG. He still lost the dunk contest fairly though, to the better dunker. Imagine that phrase followed by a shoulder shrug, meaning I can’t be convinced otherwise.

It is alright though, I guess, that they were able to come to some sort of mutual understanding. At least they were able to do so enough to meet here. Good for them both… but Airplane Mode still won.
